Message from the Yoga Photographer

ALOHA!
Featured in this calendar are some of Hawaii's and California's top yoga teachers. The states provided some truly outstanding natural backgrounds and, with the union of inspiring poses the teachers have provided, the 2014 Yoga Calendar was created.

Doing yoga poses on rocks with the wind blowing is extremely challenging. With the guidance of Spirit, through prayers and visualization, the images are always amazing and inspiring and the experience spiritually uplifting.

Special mahalo to my wife, Jeane, and son, Kahea, for always supporting my efforts in life and my artwork. I love you both and appreciate your allowing me the time away from home to grow and change spiritually and emotionally.

Many thanks to the yogis and yoginis who have given their time and energies to be in these photos and support this project. Many thanks to Spirit for guiding and blessing our efforts.

The yoga world has grown immensely in my years of doing calendar photos. I continually meet yoga teachers wherever I go, and I welcome meeting more teachers of all styles of yoga. My email is rainbo@aloha.net. Please feel free to email me and introduce yourself or to let me know about an outstanding yoga teacher who you can recommend. Any website, images, or writings that might be of interest would be much appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for purchasing this 2014 Yoga Calendar. May it inspire and touch you in a way that uplifts you on all levels. May your love and light shine.

Namaste,
Blaine Michioka
